Not what I thought it would be. I wanted something a little more easy as it's for a 89 yr old man that can't read music and plays guitar by ear.
A am a total beginner and found the book, CD, and DVD most helpful. 1) position of the fiddle, how to hold the bow, how to position hand and fingers holding the fiddle. Practice lessons are paced very well, each building upon previous material. Tuning the fiddle is covered, rosining and adjusting tension on the bow is covered.
